"Write On!" -- Lacking in Originality?

When I chose "Write On!" as the name of my blog, it seemed original. Then I remembered something I learned in Father Dinneen's "Introduction to Linguistics" class at Georgetown: Almost everything has already been said. There's almost nothing left in English (or in any language) that hasn't already been said.

That's the bad news. The good news is that not everyone has heard that thing that's already been said. Hence, the birth of blogs.

So, original or not, I intend to Write On, and I invite you to Write On with me. We may have interesting things to share with each other. We may not. We'll never know until we try.
